Australia Inspired World?

We've never had anything Australia inspired in any of the Sims, as far as I can remember.  It would be nice to see Koalas, Quokkas, Wombats, Kangaroos, Tasmanian Devil, etc.  Taking selfies with Quokkas could be a thing, for instance. 🤓 ❤️   Then there's the Gum Tree, Banksia flower, Kangaroo Paw, Grass Tree, Waratah flower, etc., plants unique to Australia. What else?  I've never actually been to Australia, but given its unique species of animals and some plants, I think it would be worthwhile to make a world inspired by the country.  What do you think?

I have been thinking of your Aussie EP idea. EA could introduce Driza-Bones and Akubras so hat sims could work outside in the rain and not have to fuss around with umbrellas. As long as they make it possible to swim in any bodies of water around.

sounds lovely where you live. The only wildlife I get in the suburbs are birds and lizards

Drizabone and Akubra hats would be great in the game! @sheridanhoughton 🙂 They would be a great accessory for sims to wear.

  • We (Australia) also have some interesting architecture like bull nose verandahs and colonial/federation styles. The ubiquitous paling fences or colorbond fences are also not in game. Since outdoors is such a focus here too it would be a good opportunity to provide children/toddlers with an activity they could do together such as slide, see saw, or something different from the pirateship/spaceship . . . maybe even a hillshoist to swing on. (it's a rotating clothesline that we all got in trouble for swinging around on as children) I would love to see our iconic eucalypt gums represented. Even if they focused on beach culture rather than the outback still lots of uniqueness in our landscapes/flora and fauna. Vegemite could easily be a bit like the fruitcake loved or hated. Sims born in the world could auto have a love simmymite trait. (it is after all a delicacy) Maybe we could finally have a toaster in the game. . .

  • Can't stop thinking that (only) a pack like this could bring us new exotic pets like snakes, lizards, spiders, and more.

This wild life take also remembers me of Crash Bandicoot, that takes place in Australia so maybe we could get some human-animal hybridd? (And maybe they should use its budget to fix the werewolves walking animation too).
