Ballroom issue: SIMs wearing random clothes!

When organizing ballrooms - the Sims wear random clothes that are NOT related to the situation. I know this is a "feature" but come one... mini skirts and jeans? This doesn't work for me since I'm trying to play a game that is trying to fit into a certain era (for example 1800s). Now I have to forcefully change (from CAS) every single sim (from own family to guests) to fit the era. Is there a way to override the games "override feature" to force the NPCs to wear the clothes I have set for them that matches the event? I bought the expansion to play games in the style of Pride and Prejustice, Bridgeton etc. I'm really disappointed at the "feature" you have set for the ballrooms that the NPCs wear random clothes instead of those that I've selected for the sims inside the character creation. A single toggle for "randomize sim clothes in events on/off" would be a life saver. Any updates coming for this soon, please?
