Better Organization in the Phone Menu

I find the navigation on my smartphone very confusing, especially in the social category. Oftentimes, I find it very tedious to find the actions I’m looking for, and I wonder if they could be displayed or arranged in a clearer and more intuitive way?

It also bothers me that you can’t navigate directly back to the menu if you decide against an activity (like talking about interests), but instead closing the overlay closes the smartphone entirely. I’d prefer to be taken back to the overview of the respective category so I can look for an alternative, rather than having to reopen the Phone app and navigate back to the social category.

Given the way the app is currently structured, I try to avoid using it as much as possible, which is actually a shame, since I generally like the features it offers.
