Broken Events. Broken Patches. Broken Game.

I have been avoiding updating my game because of the numerous game breaking bugs that EA introduced during the last update. (Some of which remain unfixed, even after the most recent update that came with EBN).

And today I decided to log-in and do this limited time Nature's Calling event, only to discover that it's impossible without updating because that was rolled out with a broken interaction too! (The "View sand art" problem)

So now I'm stuck in this catch 22, where I can either never complete this event or not play my saves until they actually fix the game. (Which, with their current track record, MIGHT NEVER HAPPEN.) 

I'm so frustrated with lack of brand stewardship with this game.
