Build buy: items by category shouldn't try to load all items by default

When I want to look through the catalog, it takes forever for it to load because it's trying to load everything. Why is "everything" the default option? It's terrible for performance and game enjoyment. I go to that tab ONLY to sort items by their category. Why are you forcing me to sit there and wait for a few minutes before I can choose an option from the categories????

What I'd like to see: when you open the category tab, it should load with no items, prompting you to choose category option. "All" should still be an option but an option that the player CHOOSES and not one that's forced on them, making them wait for the full list to load before they can choose the option they actually want.
