[BY DESIGN] Black Hair looking gray/blue on several hairstyles (patch 1.96)

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.356
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, All Game Pack (except STJTB) All Stuff Packs (except LPSP, SSP) All Kits (except MMK, FSK)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Make a child/toddler sim pick a hair with the neutral black hair swatch
What happens when the bug occurs? a few hairs are blue/grey
What do you expect to see? The child/toddler hairs being balck
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    I literally wondered when are the hair textures getting readjusted, since a guru said (a year or two ago) it'll get fixed. After reading the patch notes I was so confused if that part about hair being consistent now was about this issue. Checked out the base game hairs and I could not tell the difference. Hope this gets fixed. Hopefully not a year later

    @LunarBritney Hi. I think that ALOT did get fixed and its not fair to say none were done. Ones like the dreadlocks form nifty knitting or the island living mohawk were fixed. The braided long hair form basegame were fixed. But some work is defo needed and a relook needs to be done.

    On another note: The holiday celebration pack needs a relook. I missed this as I only checked this pack for males but males have 0 hairs in that pack. If theres any I missed please add them and the pack and they will be added to the main index on the first page

    Hmm, I don't really understand why the old thread was tagged as "fixed" when it should have gotten the "partially fixed" tag. I checked the game very thoroughly and only a couple of hairstyles were fixed, most of the hairs that were mentioned in the old thread (there were even pictures provided) remain gray looking. This isn't some "fix a few and let go" thing, this is a problem when we create Black sims and their hair looks like the sims are elders. We deserve a proper black swatch across all hairstyles.

    It's hard to list all the hairstyles because there's hundreds. What I want to say is that this isn't something that should take many years to solve, like it took 2 years to fix a couple of hairstyles. This is a matter of representation, mainly for the Black sims (because the other black swatch makes the hair look blue with the dark skin which is even worse). I hope the sims team sits down together and goes through EACH hairstyle once again to fix this big of a representation issue.

    @KateN251 I agree, some work has been done (espiecally alot of the most pesky ones like the nifty knitting dreads with baby hairs) but alot more does need to be done

    I'm using a base game beard and hair in the color black hair and  it looks grey. Actually all the hairs in black look grey. ALL OF THEM! Not sure if they have ever looked black. I remember them looking blue. But this is annoying me because I wanted to play mod free and this is disappointing. I have attached a picture.
