That would be great! I was wondering if there were any other Christian simmers out there :) Have you played Sims Midieval? They have elements of faith and prayer and you can play as a priest, among other heroes as well. The gameplay in Sims Medieval isn't quite as open ended as the Sims 4 (kids don't age up unless the parent dies I think, heroes don't age up, you can't move into a new house, each hero stays in their job's specified housing), but it has a lot of fun quests you can do and heroes you can play. But it would be awesome if they either made a Sims Medieval 2 (with aging up and more open gameplay) or added in elements of what you were talking about into the Sims 4.
In the Sims Medieval, you start out playing as a monarch who is establishing their new kingdom, but then you can play as other heroes as well, including a priest. Praying gives you a boost, you can pray with others of the "Peteran" faith, the priest can have scheduled sermons or outdoor preach, they can study the "Watcher", and try to convert others to their faith. And other sims in the game might get a negative moodlet on occassion called "Searching" if they don't have a faith where they're questioning the meaning of life. I also like that each hero has a fatal flaw, and there is a chance for you to complete a Legendary Quest to overcome your flaw with the help of the Watcher, and gain a legendary trait.
I think it would be interesting to include elements of that into the Sims, since people have spirituality and faith in real life too.
