Completion Checkmarks For Attending Events

While I absolutely love that we do not need to follow preset quests or missions, I personally sometimes need and love the structure of the checklists in aspirations and the guidance it gives me. I wish this could be applied to attending events our sim does not host but takes part in. Same feel giving us milestones, because sometimes I want a storyline where a particular sim has experienced "all of them" by attending the events of family or friends. As someone who plays rotational gameplay, I don't want to re-host the same event over and over when my sims from my other household already attended. Especially for my more introverted characters.

I would have more incentive to host wedding events for my couple if they were not the only 2 who "remember" it happening. Because of this, I tend to just select 'elope now' because if I load the household of anyone in the wedding there is no record of this happening anyway (flower pal, sim of honor, etc..) ... unless I am missing something (Even though I have played for forever I learn things every single day that I should have known years ago)

  • Isn't that what the goal and rewards checkmarks are for in the ""plan a social event" menu from the phone? I know those have specific goals needed to achieve the bronze, silver, and gold in the events.

I edited my post, I mean attending as a guest not hosting - so sorry for the lack of clarity and confusion.
