as they are they will absolutely love that tip.
@simsplayer818 , No problem! I hope your friends' sons liked the information! ðAnother Cowplant tip they might like, is that (IIRC) a Cowplant skeleton can still be used by a PlantSim to absorb energy from! It used to be this way when PlantSims were first introduced, but perhaps an update chanted it. I haven't tried it in a couple of years, so hopefully it still works.ðĪ The great thing about this was that absorbing the energy from an already dead Cowplant can't harm the Cowplant! ð
Update: Apparently you can't do this with a dead Cowplant anymore.ðĨ ðĪ Sorry for the confusion. ðģ
- simsplayer8182 years agoHero@PugLove888 Hellooo ð! Thanks for that I didn't know any of it. I'm becoming more interested in cowplants since finally adding werewolves and seeing them mentioned in Greg's Diary as being arch enemies in Werewolf/Mooncaster lore. I found the cowplant skull pieces to put together with the other Moonwood Mill relics. So there's a lot more to them than I thought!

@simsplayer818 Glad you are having fun with the Cowplants! ð My favorite version of them was with The Sims 2! I had a lot of fun with them in that game, and one of them featured heavily in one of my stories!
I enjoy these goofy and surreal elements of the Sims!ðĪŠ
And I have to say that the Werewolves pack is so much fun! ðĨģðš - LadyAofPineapple2 years agoSeasoned Ace@simsplayer818 Guess I need to play more with werewolves again! I haven't even experienced Greg yet, lol.

@LadyAofPineapple I've added a screenshot with photos of where to find him incase you need to know. All you do is click on the bunch of old signposts outside his house and he appears.
When fishing in Moonwood Mill you can find his diary and learn why he hates Cowplants and a few other things about his desperately tragic tale. You have to read it a few times to get different details. I fished up all the Moonwood Mill relics too as I mentioned earlier including the teeny Cowplant skull, but my Sims are just mortal explorers so don't have the skills to decipher what the relics mean. I'll save that for an occult Sim later.
It's really surprised me actually because I didn't think I'd like the gameplay. But the lore is what makes it.
- LadyAofPineapple2 years agoSeasoned Ace@PugLove888 This I do know: there isn't any interaction like that once the cowplant dies. It is quite useless once it does (I am terrible about caring for them unfortunately and wish they were part of the "tend garden" interaction, lol. Or that employees would care for them, if they were hired to do gardening activities (butler/gardener/ranch hand).

@LadyAofPineapple Thanks for verifying that this doesn't work anymore.ð It used to work when we first got Cowplants and Plantsims, so I'm sad to see it isn't possible anymore. ðĨ
@simsplayer818 Most of my Science Lab experience happened before we got the Cowplants, Magic Bean Stalk, and Mother Plant! I used to play with the Science Lab quite a lot before then! So your Science Lab garden is much better than mine was! ð ððąðŋ- simsplayer8182 years agoHero@PugLove888 I love the science lab. I found that the University pack also takes it up to a whole new level. I added a robotics lab, bots and Servos there along with the Get Famous drones.
I add the Granite Falls bugs too, along with the frogs and aliens (but I keep the dead pickled alien jars in a different room or that would just be inhumane ð).
I just wish my Sims could stay there all night, even the extended work day isn't long enough. But I always need to add the Professional Slacker trait because my Sims are busy doing tasks I've set instead of the jobs list they are actually supposed to be carrying out.
