Freezing on the saving screen

How can the sims developer update TheSims4 and not do the basic run through for bugs after a month of it being released? We the community shouldn't have hours upon hours of gameplay/work disappear because the game has a bad bug to the point you don't have a chance to save the game. We have to force close the game just to get it to properly function (if that). It's been over a year since we've complained about it and nothing is getting fixed in-game, the only thing you did was add packs and kits. We do not want more packs and kits; we want to be able to play the BASE GAME without any problems.
