- Coraychi1 year agoSeasoned Hotshot@iKathness There's no option to customize the weather in specific worlds, no, but they do have their own custom weather settings set by the developers. Some worlds get more rain, thunderstorms, or snow.
For example, I love living in Brindleton Bay, but in the summertime there's a thunderstorm almost every other day and my sims end up miserable. :P - iKathness1 year agoSeasoned Novice
I see. thank you for the info. I hope EA will update seasons and give out the flexibility of adjusting the weather as players like just like in Sims 3.
@iKathness you can shorten the Seasons and turn off some weather effects if that's any good for you. So, there are some worlds in my game where I don't want snow or rain for example, so I play those worlds with them turned off in Game Options>Environment. That's my roundabout way of controlling the climates for some worlds. You can't control the temperature of each season though but when I'm playing Oasis Springs for example I want 7 day Autumn/Winter and 28 day Spring/Summer and weather is off. It started to snow when I was playing it and that just didn't fit with my plans for that world.
