Deck the Palms event missing in-game and can't claim rewards

I could not receive rewards for days and missed a lot of them even though I had logged in. This is so dumb, they needed to fix it, but they didn't. 

Unless EA fixes it the only way would be if you’re a pc player to download the FOMO mod. It includes recipes and CAS items like those you’re interested in. But that’s only when mod is applied sadly. 

I have a lot of concerns about EA especially lately, but this is a tipping point.

I couldn't get the Deck the Palms stuff for a few reasons. First off, I'm a senior citizen and not much for the online chat thing, so I don't enable that feature. It IS a CHOICE...

There was a brief mention somewhere about this event, then nothing. Again, I'm not interested in,  nor do I have the time to follow every online thread or discussion. And the holiday's??? Again, Senior here, with family and many responsibilities. Also, stuff behind paywalls, after so many expensive expansion packs, and stuff packs released one after the other. I don't think the majority of us are wealthy, so that's a lot to require from your community for a few "free" items. I understand how some specific items are pack dependant, but good grief just don't make us buy everything, then have to jump through so many hoops. Especially, when a lot of the old games are still broken.

I'm sad about the way this is all going. Like so many millions of people, I've been a loyal SIMS player since the beginning of SIMS 2. That's a long time and a lot of money from one person. We all know just how big the Sims community is, we can do the math. Nickel and dimeing people never ends well. We all lose.

I'm very disappointed that I missed out on some items due to having a life away from this game. People are busy during the holidays. This was the worst time to have a daily log in event. This game is already on shaky ground, why are they speed running it into a game that no one wants to play anymore? I don't understand. They knew this event was broken and ended it anyways.

I'm also affected by this issue. I saw the event a bit late. I managed to get a few items, but some were still locked, like the Krabby Patty recipe and the SpongeBob hoodie I really wanted. I just couldn't get them. And now I see the event is over. It's really frustrating. I hope we can all get them. I love the SpongeBob universe, and I'm really excited about expanding it into The Sims 4. But if the game is incomplete, I don't see the point in playing it. Playing a game knowing that some important elements are missing ruins the experience.

I'm in the same. I thought it was ending on January 16 as well. I just connected today to claim what I had left, and realized it's over. I'm in the process of moving and did not have much time to just connect... I'm so annoyed 😪

I really love the world of SpongeBob. So I tried to follow the "Deck the Palms" event (a bit late, since I only discovered it at the beginning of January). I logged in from time to time, and I managed to get several new items. But some items remained locked, like the Krabby Patty recipe or the SpongeBob hoodie that I was aiming for. On the item, the message said something like "wait until the week of the event when this item will be available." And now I realize that the event is over. I think I missed something.

I looked online, and I saw that the Krabby Patty recipe and the hoodie were available on December 26th and 27th, but I wasn't logged in those days.

I also have to admit that I haven't bought the SpongeBob pack yet, because I'm getting a new computer in two weeks, and since the pack is available until March, I was waiting to install the last few packs I was missing on my new computer.
Did I need to own the pack to get these items?

So there are some items from the "Deck the Palms" event that I missed, and I'm really frustrated about it. The game experience is so much more enjoyable when all the items are there, especially since I'd like to explore these elements further in the game.

Is there any way I can get these items (the Krabby Patty and the hoodie in particular) afterward?

Please Ea extend the Deck The Palm event so many of us missed out the rules were not clear and people are busy during the holidays.

I never got the last 2 items, it said come back later. Due to going to the hospital daily I never had a chance to log in for a day or so, then when I logged in it was gone. I am a bit disappointed, I like to finish sets and get everything. And at the beginning it said we would get enough time to get everything.
