Disappointment in Businesses and Hobbies EP and 25th Anniversary
The new game pack they just showed as a peek of what they have in store next is just a big ol' rip off. What hobbies did they introduce? Clay. What the game already had. What businesses did it introduce? A tattoo parlor. Wow. I am so impressed I could gag. There are already mods that will let you have a home business. All of this could have been added to an update of previous packs that are so glitchy, that we have to rely of other creators mods to fix what EA gave us that was already broken.
I absolutely feel the BEST way to honor the 25th anniversary of the Sims was NOT to try to put out another flawed game, but to fix the one they have been promoting for 10 years! The previous versions of the game will work on your computer without purchasing them again, I know, as I have all of them and have ran them on this computer that I have played the Sims 4 on since I started "investing" in the latest version.
And I DO LOVE the game! But the constant bug and fixes/updates that don't seem to do squat is frustrating as all get out! We all spend more time trying to figure out WHAT IS WRONG with the game more than we get to play it! As I watched the trailer for the new EP, my heart just sank. Hobbies implies that new hobbies will be added to the game. There were many in previous versions. You could work on your car. You could sew quilts. You could play music with others (maybe they weren't playing the same song, but in a new update, they could be), but you get my point.
Businesses are another you can already do with mods. So why not just add it to the abilities that Home Chef Hustle, Dine Out or Get to Work added. Why make us purchase another pack?
I know there are bugs YOUR updates to the game have caused. The best way to honor the anniversary of the sims is the PLEASE FIX OUR GAME! HONOR WHAT YOU CREATED!
