unable to drag rubbish to any trash cans or sinks having issues with the camera and tripod its rendering the game unplayable and really not acceptable after all people do and have paid well over £300 for said game so lets try to stop breaking it with updates and maybe invest in playtesting updates before release or better yet allow players to revert to previous versions that arent broken
i believe it's everything you drag, not just the dishes, i sometimes struggle with the frog to create a new one when in inventory merging 2 frogs together, i heard other things other simmers can't use some certain items
from what i read the team created a new option in the inventory but by doing so it created a big mess you can't drag anything even if it isn't inventory related so i feel like it has anything to do with the inventory why we can't drag anything to elsewhere
and it looks like it's a known bug because more than 1500 people had voted on that problem in this link Drag No Longer Working for several objects | EA Forums - 12296987 you can vote for that problem if you haven't done that already
and i agree with play testing the game, they should ask people who works for The Sims to test the game atleast before we do so we won't have to deal with the disasters about the bugs or atleast so we only struggles with so little bugs it's playable
As much as i like seeing the sims doing the dishes and throwing away trash, i agree that dragging them is really useful when you want to make things quickier. So they really need to fix this. But i'd like them to remove the drag mechanic from carpets, it's really annoying moving throught a well decorated house with the mouse.
Vote on the thread in the bugs section. That might help them get a fix faster. Although, a bug they just fixed with the July 2025 patch was in my game since July 2024. The fix may take a long time.
