Since last night, I’ve tried every possible option available to me to actually play the sims 4 on my windows PC. Nothing has worked. I have repaired the game about 3 times, I have downloaded a broken / incompatible mods finder and deleted all the broken mods, I have updated all my script mods and I have updated my actual laptop. I’m currently stuck on a loading screen and it’s approaching 5 minutes since I’ve been on it. This all started after I updated the game because of their latest updates. I’m extremely angry that my game won’t load all because EA decided to add in features I already have access to because I’m a mod user. I’m not deleting my script mods just so I can be left with the boring terrible gameplay that EA provide for their players. I will be writing a formal complaint every day u til the issue is resolved and if it’s not fixed by the end of this week I’m deleting the game. I’m not the only person who’s been stuck on the forever loading screen. I don’t need any advice on what else to try. I’ve cleared the cache and all my misc folder content in the sims folder, the household of I’m trying to load is a very small family on a very basic lot. EA NEED TO FIX THE GAME DONT DESTROY THE GAME JUST TO GUVE PEOPLE RANDOM SKIN DETAILS THAT NO ONE ASKED FOR!!!!!!!

Yes, so thankful to have stretch marks that look like self-harm and age spots so my sims can look like they do m3th 🙃

Just out of curiosity, have you tried removing ALL mods from your game and starting a new save file? Just to see if the same issues are occurring? That might at least tell you if it's a problem with the game itself or a problem with your mods.

My game is doing the exact same thing and it’s crashing my laptop too. So annoying!
