Is it not enough that not only does the game main menu push unpurchased packs at you, and the game launcher also tells you of packs you don't have, that you have to add a pulsing shopping cart icon which is distracting, that I can't turn off, even if I own every thing? I mean really? Come on, we do not need to purchase a pack whilst playing the game, ever, I can't see any one needing to do this, at least with sims 3 I could turn off the nagging you don't own this item things in the build/buy/cas menus. And whilst we are at it, the in game calendar pulsing and shaking when I've not looked at it for 5mins is annoying too, now there are two icons doing this, save me!
- SafireStargazer2 years agoSeasoned Vanguard@cheekyimp You're right, and it's not like we could even implement a purchase while playing the game anyway. It would require a game restart in order to get the new DLC integrated and running, so I wonder what the point even is?
It's baffling to me that someone at EA signed off on this "feature" but then again, it seems clear that no one took the time to consider the larger concerns of accessibility and of an immersive game experience, much less took a second to think about the actual point of this shopping button and how it would realistically work.
