It's not solved!
The patch made it worse!
The shopping cart button still pulsates until I click on it, but it comes back after a loading screen. The shinning star is still there as well!
And now there is a notification coming from the button saying things like "Do you miss me?" and even pack recommendations.
WTF is that??
Take down this button EA!!!
I wanted to work on my Willow Creek rebuild (which is almost finished) but this buttom made me so angry I closed the game after a few minutes ☹️
The button light was blinking (again!) and I was trying hard to ignore it, which is difficult because I absolutely hate notifications no matter where. But then I wanted to switch floors and realized the button is exactly beneath the floor up/down arrows... It made me so angry I closed the game.
I was actually looking forward to buying Crystal Creations and play with it in my new Willow Creek. But I won't. I guess I will be getting the cart button removal mod instead. Very sad...
It sends notifications now?? You made it WORSE? How completely disrespectful and a slap in the face this is to us, who have been trying to ask nicely and calmly given reasons why the shopping button is so distasteful to us. Why is the way you "address" this issue a malicious decision to simply RUB IT IN by making it even more distracting?
I am speechless. This is schoolyard bullying level of nastiness, and from such a huge company too.
I was really looking forward to the new Crystal Creations SP, but now on principle, Im not gonna buy it until that buggy pulsating cart is gone. I will not encourage EA to keep it around by giving them my money, no matter how much I want the new SP. As a PC player, I'm lucky to be able to use a mod to remove it from my game so I can keep playing, but Im not buying anything new til its gone!
