Still, that won't help console players in any way. I also feel that mods should be used in any game to *enhance* gameplay, not fix bugs and other issues, but that's probably worth an entire OTHER conversation, lol.
I wonder for how much longer @EA_Cade will be collecting our feedback before we hear one way or the other. I'm guessing corporate will wait until we've exhausted ourselves, and not put out any official comment on it. I wish I had more faith in this company, but sadly, I lost it long ago. I know it's not Cade's fault, however, but I'm definitely beyond frustrated at this point.
Until I'm told otherwise. Which has not happened.
I took the risk and updated. To my big relief the cart button wasn't there. But feeling this kind of relief over not having a new feature is telling.
I am glad I can enjoy the game without being constantly reminded that EA wants me to spend even more money. I see adds when I start the EA app. And the home screen showed even more adds. I was informed twice of the current sale before I loaded my save. That should suffice. Once I am in the game, I want to play and enjoy the purchases I already made.
On a related note : the home screen had an add to tell me I could buy eco lifestyle at - 60%. but I already own that pack. Advertising packs I can't and don't want to buy for a second time seems kind of pointless.
