I booted up the Sims 4 for the first time in a couple of years today and a lot has changed. Mostly the changes seem quite nice (although I'm not sure where my old saves are), but there's one that's utterly infuriating after only two sessions.
There is now a button called 'Packs you may like', shaped like a shopping trolley. Every single time I load the game, it pops up with a notification that I can't get rid of without clicking the button, which I'm not interested in. Sometimes the notification bubble will disappear but there'll still be a glowing dot on the button itself, which is highly annoying. I searched through all the settings menus but there appears to be no way to get rid of it.
Am I missing something? Or is there a way to contact EA directly to say this sucks? It really spoils the user experience having this shoved in my face all the time.
Edit: If this seems out of context, it's because I created it as its own thread and now I think it's been moved into an existing one? In which case, hi, fellow annoyed-at-ads people!
You’re not the only one annoyed.
One more update without fix.
@EA_Cade are you ok ? Are you still there ?
