I posted this in another thread that was originally posted 7 months ago, but it was moved to Feedback. Respectfully, there is no way what is happening now is intentional. It blocks the notifications 99% of the time, which makes the game basically unplayable. What’s happening —
The shopping cart text bubble pop up has been showing up constantly (I noticed a few days ago and hadn’t played for a week, so perhaps a more recent update caused it). The popup used to show up when I loaded into the game and maybe every hour or so. Annoying but manageable, because I could get it to go away after clicking on it, going to the store, and closing out of it. But now, it's there constantly. If I hover over it, it goes away. But then comes back a few seconds later. I’m not exaggerating when I say a few seconds. I noticed it only reappears that quickly when in Live mode unpaused. When the game is paused, it doesn’t appear to come back.
Sims team - please don’t move this to feedback because something has clearly changed very recently. I can’t imagine that this would be intentional.
It is intentionnal, they want you to pay, not to play.

For sure they want us to pay. But they know there has to be a balance. Having it block the UI 99% of the time ruins the experience. If people stop playing, they certainly won't be buying.
Wow also just noticed my comment was moved to feedback again. Very disappointing.

Yet, I pay to play. I've stopped playing a few years ago because of this, thus, stopped buying DLC because well, what's the point of buying stuff you won't play with ?
