At least make the icon static, it pulses continuously until you click on it, and every time you change households or reload the game, you are forced to click on it to stop the pulsing.
EDIT: Okay, the pulsing, I read, you took it off, but you still added that bright golden dot, which is already very annoying on the calendar and social bunny. Personally, if the corporate executives really demand that button at all costs, it must be made static and without bright dots. That being said, it would be much better if it wasn't there at all, because The Sims 4 didn't start out as an f2p online multiplayer game, only in the last year you've decided to make it free to download.
@GiardiniDiMarzo There's a new bug report for the pulsing:

In fact, maybe you can create your own in case the OP doesn't come back to fill out the template.
Edit: Never mind, the report has 12 Me Toos already.

Get rid of cart! No one likes it

Okay, now it's not only flashing distractingly while I try to play, it's started to pop open little messages that block my screen so I can't click on anything in the top right. Can you please move the ad out of the way of the game play?

A new form of in-game ad is coming with Lovestruck. The date activity picker includes activities from packs you may not own, and if you hover over the icon, it tells you which pack it's from:
So, like the shopping cart, but worse because now you're paying to put this ad in your game.
It's probably only a matter of time until they extend this idea to existing features like the Seasons holiday activity picker, the Events activity picker, and maybe even CAS and BB.

The cart has to go. It's quite concerning that they haven't got rid of it yet with all the complaints about it. It's just showing that EA doesn't care about their fans. You know, we don't need a bothersome shopping cart in our gameplay. We will buy the packs. That shopping cart is an insult to both us fans and TS4 itself. I really love TS4, and it is my favorite game of all time. Like if you guys don't care about us fans, then maybe take into consideration TS4 then. The game deserves better treatment than this. I am totally fine with ads on the title screen, and actually it helps let me know which packs I still need to buy, but this in-game shopping cart is just inappropriate.

Also, I would like to note that I'm using a mod that gets rid of the shopping cart anyways. So yeah, it's a lose scenario for your guys anyways. Not only are people using the mod to get rid of the shopping cart so they don't have to be bothered by it anymore, but also you are insulting and upsetting your fans. You are losing either way. Just get rid of it, man. I'm perfectly fine with ads and popups on the title screen, and I welcome it because as I said, it lets me know which products I don't have, but the in-game shopping cart is a no go.
