The stalls in BB also give you a couple of recipes. Lobster rolls and something else, maybe a couple. I have to check but I don't think you have to learn the Mt K stall food recipes. They were added to the cooking panel if my memory is correct. At least one of the Sulani recipes is on the bbq pit so you already have that one. Might be others but it's been a while since I used it and forgotten what all is there.
But I agree with you, I'd like more recipes our sims can learn rather than they just show up in the food panels.
