Freelancer Pop-Up Bug

I see there hasn't been any more mention of this bug. Last post I could find about it was 4 years ago so figured I'd throw this out there for the new crew and maybe we can get a fix.

Randomly there will be a pop up for any sim in my household including pets that says “___ you haven’t picked up a job in a while” (it’s the text that pops up when a freelancer hasn’t picked a gig in a while)

No sims are freelancers, the pets thing is annoying, also this pops up ~10x/day. 

From what I've read, this is a base game bug that was worked in around the Eco-Lifestyle expansion. If you could please look into this, it would be appreciated by the countless Simmers being annoyed by this unwanted pop-up
