Gallery Thumbnail for Lots

REQUEST: Implement a Select Photo option that rotates around the Lot to offer different vantage points   (same feature used for Rooms). This update would provide the player the control to choose the best unobstructed view of the Lot as placed in the world. Offer 8 vantage points.

Example: Perhaps a player would like to showcase the backyard for their second thumbnail, with it's custom swimming pool, relaxing cabana, and greenhouse garden. The player could rotate the view to better showcase the Lot's backyard. Maybe an angled view would make a better thumbnail to show off the Lot.

REQUEST: Remove the surrounding environment around Lots for the preview thumbnail. Change the first thumbnail on saved Lots to display on a blank background (same as Rooms, same as Basements).

This will solve a common issue where environment objects obstruct thumbnail screenshots.

Good idea!  I'm wondering if EA will want to highlight words that are potentially offensive though.  This is my suggestion for the request and I'll add it to the list.  Let me know if you have any suggestions or edits.

- Add a prompt or simply highlight disallowed words when uploading to the Gallery.  If necessary, display the description or name in a prompt window, remove the disallowed word and add a * in its place, so the player can easily see which word(s) were removed.

In the meantime, when you encounter a disallowed word in your shares, there is a form for feedback to submit words that are being blocked but shouldn't be.  You can find it here.

The ability to clearly see what word is forbidden in title and description. Some are forbidden i a langage we don't know, other are very weirdly forbidden like "lesbian"  It's never clear. A highlight on the fordidden word would be appreciate

Apologies for the severe delay!  😩  Before adding all these to the list, I would like to clarify some things.

A block, mute, and disable feature.  Simply would love the ability to block people, mute certain words, and disable the comments.
      When you say "mute certain words", do you mean you would maintain your own list of disallowed words from the comments on your Gallery shares?  As for "disable the comments", do you mean you want to disable comments on shares completely so that no one is able to comment on them? 

Possibly separate the obnoxious customized pics from the default maxis ones when uploading households. I know that their work would technically be marked as even though they're using no cc, but 🤷‍♀️.
      Do you mean you don't want the poses that people have for their households in your Library saves?

When uploading new content, have a popup letting someone know that it's already been uploaded so it doesn't become a duplicate. Apparently it's a bug because I keep seeing them, so I just assumed that from their end it doesn't send off as a "confirmed", but rather unresponsive? Thus duplicates.
      There was a bug with the Gallery showing multiple duplicates and I'm not sure if that was fixed.  Although I haven't seen it as much recently.  Still, I like the idea and will add this to the list.  Let me know if I've stated it correctly: 
 - Add confirmation notice popup when uploading duplicate shares, i.e. "This lot / household has been uploaded already. Are you sure you want to continue?"

The ability to take in-game shots of your build without it being labeled as custom content. I don't wanna have to use another program to do this, if it can be done in-game.
      Do you mean you want to have photos of your build on your lot somwhere when you upload it to the Gallery?

When randomizing Sims from the Gallery for CAS customization, have it be possible to be something other than Maxis' creations. I've noticed that no matter how many times you press "random", it'll all be the same Sims as before and hardly from anyone who's not a guru or whatever.
      I've never used this feature before, so I did some testing.  Five out of five of the randomized sims I got from the Gallery were from other players, not Maxis. Also, all five of them were completely different.  Regardless, how about this?
 - Allow option to filter the Randomize from Gallery button to "Exclude Maxis Creations"

For filtering through the Gallery, I'd like the option to be able to find male or female sims more easier than having to get lucky enough in guessing the right keyword or hashtag when searching for a Sim. Sometimes I have to go through a long list of "hot" "sexy" "cute" or even "ugly" sims to get what I want and even then it's not even worth it because they may or may not be labeled as non-cc.
      What is it that you're asking for here?  Would you like to be able to search multiple hashtag terms?  Someone else asked for that also.  Or do you want something more specific?

I'm guessing you mean you'd like the option to choose photos for the thumbnails.  I would love that!  I'm just now sure how it would work.  Would we take our own photos of our Lots and Households and then upload them to the Gallery share somehow?  I don't want to minimize your request, I'm only thinking of the complexity.  It would be great if we could offer a suggestion or two, so the Devs have an idea to work from.

Now that i think about it, I think you're referring to how we can place lots either furnished or unfurnished.  This is different from how the lots are DLed from the Gallery.  Placing a lot from the Gallery does not save it to your Library.  So, I assume the same would be true if this were applied to Households.  This is what I think you're asking for but if I've misunderstood, let me know:

- Allow Households to be placed from the Gallery without clothing and accessories, similar to placing lots unfurnished
