I'm not quite that close but definitely within easy reach. I live near the Jurassic Coast.
Same here, I grew up about a half hour bus ride from Southend so it was either going down the cockle sheds and going crabbing or to the front for the arcades and rides as a kid for our summer day trips cause it was cheaper and plenty to keep us kids entertained. Now I live about a five min walk away from the front and it was definitely better visiting as a kid lol Something I thought of too: junior school instead of elementary school!
