I agree. I hate that my early graduates have to keep dealing with prom stuff, including negative sentiments from friends/romantic interests for not inviting them to prom. Of course, there wasn't a prom invite, they're in college now. No time for prom...also I know it's been a very long time but my high school very much frowned on graduated students showing up at school functions.
@shannon730 - I can see a school having some leniency for recent graduates of their school attending prom with a student they were dating before they graduated, but other than that, it really is supposed to for students only (as far as I know.) I've never attended a prom. I came to the US from England after graduation, where prom was never really a thing. I have been exposed to the concept through American media, though, and the way TS4 applies it doesn't mesh at all with that, and in the most obnoxious way to boot.
