A text area would also be appreciated to write to directly the number, using arrows to increase/decrease numbers was a feature in the '90s games.
Maxis, maybe it's time to update it !
Upgrading items is a fundamental part of gameplay in the sims. If you think about it, even buying seed packs and fertilizers don't have the option to type in the amount to buy. When I play a farming sim, I always buy by the bulk.
I think this option is missing primarily on the pop-ups for shops.
