Idea - composting spoiled food .

during my play I’ve noticed how much food my sims are wasting !

What  I am missing the most now is ability to turn food into compost . I know it’s possible with reduce and recycle lot challenge , but using the same challenge  for every lot is boring . If there was a composting bin available it would be so cool .

Also a small pack with interactive indoor plants , which needs to be tended to .. if there would be ability to mist them , that would be super nice .

  • This is a nice idea! Great for gardening.

All of my chefs and foodies have the fresh chef trait so the food they cook never spoils.

Sometimes I shrink the planters down one size and place them indoors to grow ingredients or for sims that live in apartments example: catnip or tomatoes...When I do this I use moveobjects on then I can place garden plants anywhere indoors as long as my sim can get to them in order to tend.

Thank you for the  inspiration. I have never thought about sizing  the planters down, so that’s something new try . Very helpful .
not all my sims are chefs. They mostly cook for their families. I do have some gardeners   and Flower arrangers .

i also just found out that you can use trash piles for fertiliser 🫣. Never thought to test it  until now . But than somehow all of my sims develop neat trait , so it’s hard to catch them 😅.

it would still add a layer to the game to have composting bins, adds extra awareness for he food waste 😁.

I think composting spoiled food is perfect for eco lifestyle sims as well. We can use vegetables, flowers and fish to fertilize gardens and spoiled food would be a smart addition.🙂
