IDEA for Sims 4 expansion pack: A Dreaming Expansion. So when a sim goes to sleep you have the option of going into their dreamworld with them... it would work basically like a travel option into another environment. the sleeping sim could meet their spirit animal, interact with the symbolism within the dream, meet with their deceased loved ones and/or whatever. The setting could alter according to what mood the sim is in or what they habitually do... lots of possibilities needs to be mystical in its overall design...

@MxWellard This is a really unique idea for a pack, I like it! I'm already a fan of fantasy vibe in my gameplay, so adding a little whimsy and mystical surrealism into the mix would make me a happy simmer.

omg yes a dream pack (literally and figuratively) maybe it can have a secret world similair to Realm Of Magic?they could've made it with the "Life And Death" pack so i'm dissapointed ghost didn't come with a secret world i was hoping forsure it's nothing like "Life And Death" pack but i'm definitely in for a pack your sim get to see their ghost sims who all have died, even if it means the secret world takes place in your sleep only ("Businesses And Hobbies" came with a pack with owning their own businesses but i noticed when your sim is sleeping and it has that sort of a sleeping perk your copy sim will do things in their sleep like doing painting, playing an instrument, anything that's hobbies related so it should be possible in my opinion)maybe they can add an bed option called like "lucid dreaming" or something? (it's rare but according to google it's possible) so your sim can see the ghost sims, the social and energy needs get full so it's a win-wina personality trait called "the dreamer"? (can't think of any other personalities then this) you get a happy or inspired moodlet if you sees a deceased sims but you get a very sad moodlet if you don't interract with the ghost sims especially friends and family (it can be both in your dream and when you're not dreaming when it involves ghosts)just a thought though but i came up with this based on the topic hereit's your ideas i came up with my ideas

combinedsecret world name: Lunaris hollow"Lunaris" references the moon and the concept of dreams and nighttime while "hollow" suggests a secret hidden space-perfect for a ghostly world with mysterious elements.The Secret world is based on: ireland and Scandinavia enviroment wise in particular (Landscape: Japan and Greece combined, with the gothic vibe of France)What if we can add 1 more bed option when going to sleep and calls it "lucid dreaming" or something?your energy needs get full and same with social needs so it's a win-win for everybody who wants this pack ideaI wished it came with "Life And Death" pack since it's quite death related and ghost sims have more skills options there so it only makes sense if they could've added lucid dreaming as an optionIt needs a new personality trait do think they should come with a better symbol/icon, more of like a 🙏 symbol/icon rather than the world one)(It will be quite similair to this, a portal for sure but the world itself isn't exactly alike like this picture does, more in a daylight kind of mode with a more colourfull buildings even if it's possibly only there for decorations...one of the rare cases i don't mind having buildings as decorations)When in dreaming mode it should come with a secret world similair to "Realm Of Magic" like spellcasters has their own world i want deceased/ghost sims to have their own secret world where your sim get to see their loved ones who have died (maybe death animals if you have "Cats and Dogs" and "Horse Ranch" too for cross-pack ideas?) and unlike the "Businesses And Hobbies" you can control your sim when in dream modeIt needs to come as a normal world just like Realm Of Magic that comes with a world called "Glimmerbrook" and it's a dark world again (the closest occult i can think of is kind of like an angel sim but again i don't know if occult is necessary in this pack idea if we have ghost in basegame already and no skills is needed if we have "Life And Death" for ghost skills already, the only thing i need is for your sim to interract with deceased/ghost sims so no special skill is needed but it does complement with the "Life And Death" pack very well if they implement it very well)I don't know if it match with an Expansion Pack though, i think it match better with a Game Pack in my opinionThe link i shared gave me an idea to add mine with a "Dreaming Pack" idea and with the most recent pack it should be possible (i played with "Businesses And Hobbies" i noticed if you have the sleeping kind of perk, the copy version of your sim will do hobbies but you can't control them though but nonetheless i'm here for more sleeping options)I can't think of a tittle based on this idea but maybe "Dreaming Living" or "Realm Of Dreaming" should do the trick?The world is possibly Henford-On-Bagley and Glimmerbrook combined with a bit of Tartosa with a small beach part with some ingredient you can buy outside the lot (quite similair to Henford-On-Bagley)It has a green enviroment like "Henford-On-Bagley" and the magic like world like Glimmerbrook and a tiny little tint of Tartosa like i said with a small beach part (if it has a dark magic with a beach yet green enviroment combined in 1 world: invite me in)As a existing lot type it should come as a bar, some are residental lots, 3 empty lot (to build your own) and a few community lot (can't think of any but one of them is possibly a library)As a new lot trait they should add "comfortable" kind of lot so your sim rarely get tense and/or angry and if they do, it dissapears faster than normally (the complete opposite of "mean vibe" lot trait so they should disable it if the "comfortable" lot trait is on)As a new interraction with a ghost/deceased sim your sim can get a closure with a ghost/deceased sims about things like how they died for examble or why this person reacted the way it did to this certain person (like rivalry for examble why this deceased/ghost sim disliked that person) Even if it's only in a dream, i'd like for the sim to wake up having a happy or fine moodlet because you just made peace with a ghost/deceased sim (if Growing Together is installed it's in the "friendly" category interraction and if a ghost/deceased sim answers just like with some interractions like "get to know" and "ask about a career" for examble the answer pops up and based on the personalities you have some kind of answers like "we had different lifestyle/opposite hobbies" or "we had the opposite personalities" i don't know how it will end up but i think it should end with "i hope one day you can/will forgive me, i'm sorry for everything" or something the line like that)Since it's been almost 3 years since the last Game Pack along with a few other Game Packs idea of mine, i think this version should be in Game PackAspirations:-Finding peace with yourself/deceased sim (Location category)-Get to know the ghost world (Location category)-Ghost Master (Knowledge category)now i know it may look the same at first glance with the Ghost Historian so it can be misleading but the aspiration i have in mind is different, your sim get to study the ghost and instead of turning into temporary ghost by clicking on the pink like water in Ravenwood, you'll get to become a temporary ghost from the deceased sim who will make your sim into a temporary ghost (you can ask the deceased sim by asking to become one by clicking on the interraction "ask to become a ghost/ask to change into a ghost") for a few certain hours to experience them yourself and go to the secret world with themI was literally about to write a aspiration but the aspiration i have in mind already exist with the "Life And Death" pack so no need to write a aspiration that already exist🤣🤣We can have a "ghost" skill similair to the vampire one even without having this certain occult skill, the more skills you get, the more options you're gonna get and maybe if the skill is completed or near completed, you can click to your own sim (who got the ghost skill) to visit the secret world without doing much effort (quite similair to spellcasters) you normally have to do that with lucid dreams to visit this secret worldForgive me if i'm not that creative but these are the only thing i came up with, i wouldn't mind an angel occult if the team decided to make this pack but i won't need them and it's a bit unnecessary in my opinion because what kind of powers do angel occult have in the game? i like the option if maybe you can advice other sims about how to make peace with yourself and/or others and of course an another option to ask other sims for advices about how to make peace with yourself and/or others
and maybe similar to lovestruck you can have a career like some kind of counseling but it's with like friendship and enemies instead (rabbit-holes career) about how to deal with the situation and how to make peace for those who have deceased
you can like enter the dream/secret world or by interracting with the ghost in the residental worlds, it can be both
and if you have other packs installed you can talk to deceased animals too

it's most likely the imaginary friend might come out with this upcoming Expansion Pack but i do like to add maybe children can have some dreaming aspirations like maybe "i dream to become" (you can fill in)
we can perhaps have a personality trait called "absent-minded" (in my another comment i mentioned about "the dreamer" personality trait)
and maybe as a teen similar to "Life and Death" with creating a will you can create a career you want to go with (it complement with "Discover University" very well) so this way it's still dreaming related
i finally know something else: a career or freelancer you get to advice people to life your dreams no matter what and if not you can comfort them and try to cheer them up
