[Idea] Open-Districts

Question

Hello there, everyone!Even though I’ve been a huge fan since The Sims 1 was released, I’m only participating in the forums now so I don’t actually know if this has been discussed already.I apologize in advance if it has.Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could at least have open districts in which there wasn’t any loading screens between the lots?We all know that open world is not a possibility, but I think open districts would be AMAZING!If we had at least the ability to load 2 lots simultaneously would already make the experience of playing The Sims 4 so much more enjoyable.Since there aren’t any MODs available for such mechanics, I can only assume it’s harder than I think. But if the developers made these changes, the game would be nearly perfect.What are your thoughts?

Never gonna happen lol. But, yes, it's a great idea and I can remember it being discussed quite a lot when the game first came out all those years ago. I may even have made a thread about it back then. But I guess I got used to how it is as I'm not as miffed as I used to be. In fact, much as I moaned about the game and all its restrictions back in the day, it turned out to be my second favourite version.

I do wish each neighbourhood/district was open world, even if lots cannot be. Traveling to another district (to let's say just get a fable or collect/dig/etc.) while you have Sims fishing off home lot really mucks the up when you get back.
