IDEA: [S] Holiday Scope • Calendar UI

Not all Holidays are celebrated across every household. Some holidays are personal. Take for instance, a Wedding Anniversary. This type of holiday would only affect one couple of one household. Currently, creating a holiday titled "Landgraab Wedding Anniversary" would be seen and celebrated globally, showing up on calendars of every household.

What if you could decide the scope of your Holidays?
Then you could decide how far your holiday reaches and control which households can see it and celebrate it.

Holiday Scope options for Seasons Calendar. Choices for Household, World, or Global.

• Household

  • Currently, Calendars are already assigned to a Household
  • Only the household of the holiday-creator would celebrate this holiday
  • Personal holidays, for example:
    
    • wedding anniversary
    • annual reunion - family / graduating class
    • religious / cultural / heritage
    • family traditions
    • date night
    • annual friends fishing trip

• World

  • Create your own Festivals!
  • Seen and celebrated by residents of the same world map of the holiday-creator
  • Only shows in Willow Creek, for example
  • Regional holidays, for example:
    
    • Mardi Gras (Willow Creek)
    • Desert Days (Oasis Springs)
    • All Hail The Mother Day (Strangerville)
    • Day of the Dead (Ciudad Enamorada)

• Global

  • Celebrated in every household, in every world
  • This is the current default for Holidays

Cross-Pack Traditions

This is a perfect opportunity to update and add new traditions from other packs:
