Sims will not be discontinued (for now) but it will have new owners with the stern objective to raise $$$$$ I thought it was only certain games (per rumors), but it is not. EA will have new owners in control of more that 93% of the stock. The costs of everything will skyrocket after January and I expect with the New owners that while it is free to play on or offline, I suspect with the greedy hogs gaining control of it, it will end up being a monthly subscription to play. I do say this because I know who will soon be at the helm of EA games. I wonder if this gets flagged and deleted as voicing one's opinion or certain words are no longer permitted per the parent of one of the new owners and these things will be tightened down as well. Only bullies and abusers use fear tactics - IMO.
