Is 2026 the last year of TS4?

I hope so, I'll be coming back to this thread if he's right again :P

The Saudis have no "interest" in Madden NFL, either, but they claim to want money. Why is it a GIVEN that they will shutter The Sims just because it's a "girl" game or some other NON-FINANCIAL reason? A GIVEN? No one has said that.

How would Maxis be able to go independent, though??

Who said The Sims 1, 2 and 3 are dead ???

• The Sims 1 and 2 have been re-released and updated this year (8 patches).
• The Sims 3 Store is still online which means it makes profits but I agree there is no update
• The Sims FreePlay (2011) is still updated

I would say instead : "The Sims Mobile is dead ??? MySims, Project Rene and Project Stories might be next 😛 "

It sucks I just got back into this game like 2 months ago and have been playing a lot more than I expected. I'll always be a TS3 stan but it sucks that TS4 may be over soon when I'm just starting to have fun with it!!

There's a bunch of even years there. TS4 was released in 2014, so  it's a birthday year. TS3 was discontinued the previous year, in 2013. The Sims Mobile is discontinued this year. The only thing that happened on those other dates is people wishing for Sims 5. I think Grimmy is knocking on the door but Sim 4 is away on vacation. 😁🤣

I don't think so because The Sims is a major cash cow, is the only life sim on the market, and it's a very recognized brand in media and pop culture. 

If we really do have a year or less left of TS4 that's quite upsetting and people should be warned.

It's pretty obvious really that the ones they sold the company to have no interest in this game. That support will stop is a given, unless that purchase somehow does not follow through or Maxis goes independent.
