Issues with family tree

I have a legacy family that iv been working on for a good solid 17 or so generations. Earlier today I was playing and my various households were perfectly fine from what I could tell. Well later on today I logged on again and now they're listed as cousins and closer relatives which should not be the case. They have children with each other and literally are in the process of having another one yet they can't interact romantically now? If you guys could please loosen your restrictions on that or something that'd be great because people are being mislabeled as family when they shouldn't be.
