When I think of Museums I think of all the movies I have seen with people planning an art or artifact heist. There is really a lot of potential with reintroducing Burglars back into the Sims.

Burglar as a standard or active career

For me, it’s TS1 nostalgia. I remember feeling so shocked whenever I heard that burglar music. It meant whatever plans I had were about to be upended. It’s fun when the unexpected happens. I wish it would happen more in TS4.

I agree about the unexpected nature of the burglars. I would really enjoy them getting the Vampire/Werewolf treatment where they have all these particular skills to choose from like lock picking or something more scammy. Also more advanced security systems for to try and circumvent for places like the jewelry store and museums.

If they add an advanced security system, maybe they could also add a sort of iconic big boss burglar that could target these advanced systems. Like Greg, but for burglars.

To me it's about the suspense of the game the game has been sunshine and rainbows for so long we need suspense in the game we can have the old play style like in Sims 1,2 and 3 where the burglar usually robbed you at night when Sims would sleep however I would like for a burglar to rob your sim when they are away from home they get an alert and they'll have time to get home call the police and the police will catch the burglar or like the jewelry store Burglars will might have to be a little more crafty and pick pocket or snatch items. I would like to request a toggle because I know a lot of people play style is not the same.

It's a type of gameplay in the same way that vampires and werewolves are. Those were traditionally negative concepts but can be played in a light and fun way. Likewise, you can make Evergreen Harbor a polluted trash world full of dumpster diving and you can even vote for "sharing is caring". (I like cleaning mine up and I don't play with that but you can). There are also many stories and films of that type both classic and modern. It's a type of fiction.

For myself, I like having different characters with various things to do and different types of gameplay. I have to say that I don't love the idea of random break-ins but I'd want to be able to call the police on them. Some players definitely would. There are sims in the game with careers as criminals who have the evil trait so it goes along with them. I do agree that it adds the potential for interesting stories or challenges just like playing a lot challenge does or following a scenario or legacy contest does. It's not my hill to die on at all. It just seems like these would go together.

That is an elegant idea. I've been thinking something similar for clock making. So Sims can make clocks and get a choice of pocket watches, at least one could be is gadget device. These do have the same reason to be an added.

The english simmer had a cute video with new custom content she found and there was an excellent mod of Romantic Gifts. It was so cute they gifted each other fine jewelry and a Rolex. I hope it's a feature. Also so retro shaped ram style hoop earrings which recently made a come back in fashion, and I really hope thats a new create a sim accessory.

I also really want jewelry in the fashion shops from get to work. I always set up a corner but would be nice if you can make your own fine jewelry store or sell it to a boutique.

The collectable jewels we have should be put towards that too.

Update I've been wishing for, the sim wears engagements and weddings rings exchanged. I thought it was an in game feature but I never seen it work.

I'm actually looking forward to this because I could see using it a lot. It's also something for the wealthy sims. My other thought was that they might patch in burglars somehow because they sort of go along with this. Some players are looking for that type of chaos more than I am but I could see having a few villains or two who would get up to hijinks. Mostly I'd just want this for the normal reasons but that's another type of gameplay. If added, those evil sims would partake.

I think being able to exchange rings would be lovely if even in a cut scene like in Sims 2. I'd like to give jewelry like an inheritance as well.
