Justice for performing arts!
Dramatic title, but hopefully it got your attention.
I feel like the performing arts are really getting neglected in this game. We get creative arts activities and skills fairly frequently, but we haven’t had a new performing arts skill since acting was added in Get Famous seven years ago. We’re overdue for some instruments or more styles of dance or maybe an updated singing skill.
Obviously, people have been asking for bands for a long time; I’m actually hoping for a broader music focus. I’m okay with less CAS or BB if the pack is crammed full of instruments and musical skills. (Personally, I’d love to see classical singing, as it’s been my real life hobby for a couple of decades, but I know that’s unlikely.) Drums and Bass obviously, but banjo and saxophone would be awesome and on theme, too. A five-level cowbell skill would be hilarious, especially given the communities lack of fear (and outright love) for the reaper. I’d love an afterschool band activity or a part time record store clerk job, but I feel like I’m getting greedy asking for that.
tl;dr: we’re overdue some new performing arts content. I hope something’s in the pipeline for after the quality of life fixes are handled.
