Laptop mode needs fixing (MacOS)

Hello!

I am undoubtedly the only one that experiences a lot of problems with the laptop mode setting in TS4, especially on Mac OS (unsure if it applies to Windows etc.).

For a while i have noticed and became frustrated over "small" details with the visuals on laptop mode, that nevertheless annoy me endlessly. I am thinking about trees and shrubbery turning hot pink/lilac during fall season (instead of orange), and all glasses appearing as sunglasses on sims. 

Each of these problems can be easily solved by just turning laptop mode off, but then the fps slows down significantly and performance plummets. 

I suggest that EA should finally take action and fix the issues regarding laptop mode, since many of us are actually playing on laptops etc. and do not buy expensive gaming setups just for this game. I dont know where else i could raise this issue so i just thought posting about it here is ok. Please interact and tell me if you also encounter such annoying issues on laptop mode.
