Make it possible for expelled teens to reenroll

So yesterday’s patch made it impossible to reenroll after getting expelled. Before that patch, my sims could reenroll but for automatically expelled at the end of the school day, even if they did great.

I wasn’t even playing my sims when they got expelled, and I don’t know what they have done. I didn’t want them to be expelled. So I’d just like for them to be able to reenroll, instead of being locked out of school (especially as I play with aging off).  And I don’t think I’m the only one.

I know there’s a “three strikes” thingy, but depending on your sims mood, state etc, it’s way to easy to get a strike without even trying to.

For instance my tired sims tend to take a nap instead of walking to the classroom, or if they do, given the size of the school, they don’t make it in time.

So it would be more fair to have a way to reenroll in school. Even if we have to beg the principal for mercy.

Also what’s the point of having HSY if our sims get expelled super easily and then can’t even go to school ?

How ? I never found the option to enroll online.

  • I just tried to put my sims in the Gallery, then place them the world. I ended up having two identical household because I wanted to see if the “new” teens would be able to go to High School before I deleted their “old” selves.  They still got expelled at the end of the day.  so even that doesn’t work.  I would need to place them in a brand new save and lose all their skills, friendships, achievements etc…..

PLEASE SIMS TEAM do something !! I never meant for them to get expelled, it was a bug, I should be able to fix it. Just make it possible for teens to re-enroll.

With Discover University and High School Years, a teen sim has the option to take online classes and receive their high school diploma in order to enter university.

Discover University EP and High School Years EP combined allows a drop out or expelled teen with high skill levels to receive a diploma online if you own both. You can even graduate early and attend college as a teen with Discover University and High School Years.

I have 4 high school aged sims living in a dorm in Britechester in my main save. They all graduated early with the Discover University EP and High School Years EP which allowed them to attend college as teens.

  • Still no way for expelled sims to re-enroll in HS ;(  I’m tired.
I have sims that got expelled when I wasn’t even playing them, so it was not intentional. I play with aging off so they’re STUCK as high school dropouts.  I tried re-downloading them from the Gallery, it didn’t work.
please, do something, at last!!! Have them register to a rabbit hole HS, it’s still better than nothing.
And please people if you agree, say so or they’ll never listen.

They have to age them up to be able to register for the online degree. They said they're playing with aging off so sounds like that would be a problem. I had the same thing happen to one of my sims and I wasn't ready to age him and his brother up. So he had to sit around while his brother completed High School and was able to do prom stuff. It would have been nice if he could have registered for the online school then, bc I mean they're supposed to be in school right? Some kind of sim law surely? :)
