Making "spouse" and "partner" labels toggleable in CAS

I was really happy to see that the game has updated the language for romantic relationships to default to the gender neutral "partner" and "spouse." I think having the game default to these terms is ...

Why can I not use the terms boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife anymore? If adding the terms "'partner" and "spouse" is meant to make it more inclusive which is great, why were the other terms taken away if that is also how many other Simmers identify?  That seems unfair and contradicting in the name of inclusivity. Please return the option to use the terms.
