Man attacking woman in game - should this be allowed?!

Hi, I wasn't really sure this counted as a 'bug' as sorts, but feel as though it's something that should be addressed - my female sim was attacked by her ex?! He called her asking to get back togethe...

It sounds as if it's a part of this bug where sims will autonomously and without reason do mischief against one another.  One thing I've noticed is another part of this bug is that the "fight" interaction is always available regardless of situation and that sims will use it autonomously without provocation.
