Medieval pack; dragons and fairies pack

Many previous forum posts and social media posts have been made concerning this form of desired gameplay scenarios and features.  I hope you will add your ideas to this as well and maybe we will get these.

Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a new cave or tree exploration portal to a new expansion similar to deep woods and the holiday/visit worlds… but featuring a medieval time warp.

Castles with moats and drawbridges… royalty gameplay… (mini game of Sims medieval)

Sims would need to change their clothes (like Batuu)… the phone would convert to a notepad or slate and quill or chalk…

New skills eg archery, jousting, swordsmanship, the carol ring dance and song or the chain dance… maybe having to learn the song from the troubadour before participating in the ring dance…

New musical instruments and music channel eg lute, flute, harp…

New hobbies and careers eg blacksmithing, lead lighting, seamstress… with sims able to bring that skill to their everyday life with a modern version of the tools eg sewing machine for seamstress

******

Dragons and fairies could be from a different yet similar scenario involving a mushroom ring portal to an occult world with lots of lore, adventures and gameplay

The dragon nesting area could only be accessed if sim gains the friendship of a dragon and is transported there by the dragon.  Depending on sim’s traits, the sim could be given, win, or steal a dragon egg that is taken to everyday life.

Fairies are playable occult with traits, skills and aspirations… similar to werewolves, vampires and spellcasters… sims may then have their baby swapped for a changeling in everyday life, or have a chance to have a fairy baby by a special fairy woohoo

Please expand on these ideas adding your thoughts of desired gameplay and scenarios

  • I love the idea of the Celtic heritage included as well @Moozilla13.   There is so much potential lore and gameplay involved within that idea.

  • @OzSimsFamilyI mentioned this in another post, but I'd really love to see Celtic heritage brought into a pack, which would be ready made for giving us fairies, and would lend some interesting potential dimension to them. Aside from that, I'd happily take anything that added to the potential for historical gameplay. The Batuu-esque idea you mentioned is a different take on it that I could see making a pack like this more accessible to players who don't go in for the historical niche. It could play along the lines of visiting a Renaissance fair, which opens up some options for themed games sims can participate in and maybe add new skills (I'm thinking Jousting, Archery, Fencing, and so on). Would also add a lot of the type of CAS items I know I for one would LOVE to see added.

  • Your ideas are great! 🙂  Archery would be a great new skill and I would like having my sims playing the lute, harp and flute. Doing lead lighting and using sewing machines would be great activities for our sims to do.

Medieval style clothing would be great. Young children could enjoy dressing as royal princesses and princes.
