Bring back STREETS OF SIM CITY TOO! It's unfair to try to claim THE SIMS needs to be family friendly, contain no criminals and light violence, action, etc....when lately with all the WOOHOO and shenanigans ...it is far from it.
Go back the grand unified vision W.W. had for ALL the SIMSTITLEs to be used in conjunction with one another.
No title is ever DEAD and can come back and regain it's crown. LOOK AT MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2020 and 2024. NOBODY thought MS would EVER produce another Flight Sim and now they have made HISTORY by delivering one of the most paradigm shifting experiences in history and continue to do so with FS2024.
ANYTHING can be done in 2025! It's just the WILL. imo the $$$$$$$$$$ will come.
That was the thinking with SIMCITY 4! 2.5D instead of remaining fully 3D!
Back then it kind of made sense as PC's were not common and high-end PC's were few and far between! That is no longer the situation. Today most people own a system thousands of times more powerful than in the early 90's.
If it was possible then it is more than possible now.
That was the mentality that allowed them to lose one of the greatest franchises in history.
