Misleading promo images in today's (Sept. 18th, 2025) Game Update Announcement

I'm sorry, but this photo is completely misleading and causes confusion when coupled with today's patch notes.

I understand the need to promote a new pack that is launching soon, but there is a time and place for everything, and decisions like this just create false expectations in the community.

Please limit promotional photos to articles promoting new packs. Keep photos in the game update announcement on topic please. Failure to do so just causes negative reactions to spread in the community like wildfire.

Edits:

The new Playground Venue is also misleading, and appears to be engineered to sell DLC. It's not rewarding or fulfilling gameplay on its own, and has interesting design choices (number of playground equipment required) to say the least. Please consider lowering the requirement of playground equipment. Thank you! 💚

    To those trying to defend this act of misleading marketing, here's the issue: the spaceship & pirate ship are literally the same object in cosplay

    Imagine a “playground” that’s just 2 jungle gyms and 4 monkey bars in a row

    When I first saw the playground venue update I was really excited. I thought we would get some new basic, play equipment and then fancier, more elaborate equipment in the EP. It was very disappointing to fine out otherwise. Especially as people are saying, the playground requires too much equipment. They are very hard to build on smaller lots.

    Another thing I have found is that there are no chaperones. I get three or four toddlers turn up on their own. Which just seems really odd. The kids are not so bad, they would turn up on their own, but toddlers? I would like to see at least a few adults, parents or teens, turn up with their kids/siblings, just to make the venue seem more genuine. It's strange when I take my whole family out and they are the only family there. Makes it feel empty.
