All everyone needs to do is slot any trash can to the changing table. As your sim changes the infant's diaper it automatically goes into the trash can. The bottles aren't, but this isn't a big deal either, because like plates, you can grab and throw away. If you don't want to do this, hire a maid. Cloth diapers act like dirty clothes...they go into the hamper automatically (just have it in the room). You have to wash/dry them like/with dirty clothes. Or get your sim to level 10 parenting, then you don't have to deal with any of them when they do the efficient infant care.

Cloth diapers do not go into the hamper in base game, they stay on the floor. (yes there is a hamper in the room)@troshalom you are correct, there is no changing table in basegame. Also, sorry, I didn’t realize that cloth diapers were given as a choice if you don’t have the Laundry Day pack. My reply mentioning the diaper animation in relation to the hamper would only be relevant if you have the Laundry Day pack. Also, even if you do have a changing table, if they do the diaper change not using the changing table they toss it on the floor. Sorry if I caused any confusion.
