Nifty knitting- cross pack expansion

I was looking at the Nifty Knitting pack but felt that it was quite limited it terms of knittable wearables.

With each new expansion we get a number of CAS items that look knitted, jumpers, cardigans,  dog and cat outfits, vests, even a couple of tops and a few shorts.

Cottage Living and Eco Lifestyle to name a couple of packs, have lost of knitted  CAS.  It would be great if these items were added to the knitting skill as another "recipe".  And considering these CAS items have already been made, why not just add them to the knitting skills repertoire?

Expanding skill recipes though other expansions  makes these skills feel more integrated and exciting to play.  In the past new plants, food recipes and painting have been added.  And while I appreciate these are base game skills if feel these receipes could still be added without the need for the knitting skill in game.  Similar to having multiple new flowers but not being able to do flower arrangements unless you own Seasons.

  • The more craftable items there are, the more worthwhile these various gameplay systems become. If we can have the ability to make more clothes, just like we would like to make more recipes and woodworking items, so much the better. It really adds a lot to the gameplay, to the immersion, and to the sense that we can play the way we want to if we are given these small updates over time. It keeps these gameplay systems fresh and feeling alive, even after many years.
