The problem is that it is HARD to ignore them. The pop up is constantly there in the left hand of the screen during live mode, even if you disable it. And though I don’t have solid proof, I swear it’s been causing lag.
This is the new look of the game. These events are here to stay most likely.
I'm fine with that if I can get rid of the UI without suppressing any gameplay or features like the Gallery.
Yes. You can avoid these events. Yes you will lose access to the gallery.
Is it worth it? Only if they are patching in or giving us new gameplay. The hot chocolate stand has been in the game since Season arrived...and now we get a tray in the base.
I'm happy for all these tea trays, the hot chocolate tray and the kettle from For Rent ..but what I really want is some new and exciting Amped gameplay to keep me invested in the sims. 🙂
edit: I agree! I played the event without having to go online because the UI is in the game...it was super easy.
I played the last reapers event without even trying!( just playing my game) because it kept harassing me constantly. I didn't log in and collect the free stuff for the reapers event because I wasn't interested in the free DLC.
I don't want the freebies but I am happy for others that do. I want the option to turn it off.
