This is an American holiday that not all Americans celebrate.
Not interested in American holiday baking traditions. I'd rather have a sports car or a camper.
Kwanzaa is up for next year's Holiday event....not everyone celebrates that either.
When a gaming company introduces washed out American holidays in their game...my eyes roll deep into my brain... for refuge.
This Holiday Event is way too Americana for my taste and I grew up with it for many years.
I really would like some real gameplay to replace American holiday events in my game. š
PS. The only Holiday sweets I bake would be European...They have better baking/ methods and it taste better.š¤„š¤šš

Just voicing what I'd like to see. Since it's a pretty common thing to see with Christmas whether you celebrate it or not. What I grew up with and like seeing the novelty things. Seeing other holiday dishes for around this time would be nice to see too if anyone else celebrates something different around this time of the year. Kinda like how they finally put some jewish recipes in the game finally, which is very nice for players that wanted something like that and feel more inclusive.
If you have Seasons you can just delete said holiday if you don't like Winter Fest or anything else and just make your own, which is the good thing about that. Base game wise there's not really anything like that just things like decor and other recipes to help emulate that with whatever you do celebrate.

I'm glad I can delete holidays...But I can't delete this event. I have this in my game already.

Since I like to think having more options in the game is always good. Even if I don't use certain things that other cultures might doesn't mean I don't want to see it in the game just because I don't want it. Puts a damper on things if I was out here saying someone's holiday traditions don't matter just because I don't personally want to see them though. Wouldn't have a lot of the nice options from cultural clothing to foods in game now if people didn't voice what they'd want to see or represented, especially as simple as cosmetic with clothing and food.
Just my take.
