I did a test run on new save and no mods. First trying to sell mostly bakeries, then just afk with a coffee bar for a couple weeks. Townies do change their weight.

searched for the old patch notes for this
- NPC Sims in San Myshuno will no longer experience sudden unexpected weight gain. NPC Sims’ bodies should only be susceptible to change if they are inside an active residential lot.
Does it only happen for you inside the Small business or also other community lots ? Maybe they put it back for that.
