Nurturing an Insect Farm Takes Too Long

If you have the Sims Eco Lifestyle installed there is an insect farm. You must nurture the insects to keep them in good health. Nurturing each individual insect farm takes about 45 Sim minutes. That is an exceptionally long time to nurture an insect, and it makes playing with insect farms unbearable. This makes it exceedingly difficult to keep the insects in good health. If you have multiple insect farms that is all your Sim can do, and the game becomes a nightmare.

  • yeah it is very frustratingly boring to tend to them, especially like you said, if you have several. I want to have them for cooking ingredients but it is annoying that they take so much time for basically nothing, and it is so unrealistic as well to do it. Like changing a diaper or potty training a toddler can be repetitive as well, but it makes sense at least.

The bug care is even more annoying if you have other animals (maybe plants as well) on the lot that need care as well. Like chickens, bees, hamster, (birds, rabbits), a cow, a lama etc

Cows and llamas have this annoying "feature" that you have to clean them every day as well, very unrealistic and just time wasting to be time wasting
