Passive buisness shelf stock

It would be really nice to be able to set up a business or shop where you can buy items from and the shelves restock. I’ve made a knitting cafe where my sim knits and sells what she’s made. It becomes almost useless if I want to play as another family and purchase things from this shop. If only they made something where you can manage open and closing times as well as stock and who’s making things when not playing as that family.
